Room is always clean and well decorated when we visit. Great views of the river and city. Yes, you will see the shipyards and that?s ok to see our Nation?s Navy being maintained. Breakfast buffet is worth the cost or use free meal passes if you have Marriott status. Short walk into Old Town Portsmouth. Easy walk to the ferry for crossing the river into Norfolk downtown. Parking is plentiful and even fits large trucks...

Came for an Organization Conference this past weekend and thought I would mention that the mtg rooms are just too close together to have guest speakers in rooms that are side by side....when holding mtgs with less than 20 people and no microphone, in one rm, next to a Huge group of women in the next rm hooting and hollering and clapping and being loud, it surely made it impossible to hear the training that...

View from the rooms and quality of the rooms is nice, but the service needs improvement in attitude and qualification. The breakfast seems overpriced to me and on one day I had to make the staff aware of mould on the cheeses. Gym is good, but the swimming pool is not well maintained and the whirlpool was just closed.

They never gave me a refund on the nights that I cancelled. They ignored my calls ever since I demanded a refund when they told me I would be refunded.
